How long after the expiration date can you safely consume tofu?
Mine just expired as of yesterday, but I’ve never kept it as long as the expiration date before. I have noticed a couple of little brown spots on it but it is mostly the general white color. Is it safe to just cut out the little brown parts and eat the rest? (Has anyone ever done this?)
If it was safe to eat after that date it would be called a best before date. The Morinu website says you should not consume it after it has expired. But if you’re desperate go ahead. I have before.
